I don't actually use this program! I just gave it a test run. Any questions asked will be left unanswered as I just don't know the answer! My apoloigies you will have to find a tutorial/figure it out on your ownHEY SO I saw a new program floating around and thought I'd give it a test run.
FIRE ALPACAIts a free image editing program that acts similar to SAI.
Line Smoothing much like the stabiliser in SAI. For those who would like smoother lines but haven’t quite got a steady enough hand
Layer modes and opacity like Photoshop and SAI. Not quite as much options as PS but enough for those who enjoy multiply shading (like myself hahaha) and could be used for applying textures
Clipping groups and Transparency lock (called clipping and protect alpha) another like PS and SAI. I use these when blocking in colours and shading. One locks the alpha as it says, so you only can colour on the pixels you’ve already drawn. The other does the same without editing the previous layer in any way. (wow me good at explaining)
PSD compatible wow how awesome is this, like SAI you can save your file as a PSD! For those who like to draw in one program then edit it, texture it, add text to it etc in photoshop (also something I do)
Brush options I haven’t tested any others. The pen tool is quite like SAI’s as it is smooth and crisp. However the pressure sensitivity is a little odd? It’s sensitive to change, but the pixels don’t reach 0 quite as smooth.. if that makes sense? It’s more like photoshops size change than SAIs.
It’s rather easy to use!
Perfect for those of you who have MACs and want something similar to SAI (or just a nice easy art program), those who don’t like the pirate programs but can’t afford any and just people who like free stuff WHO DOESN’T LIKE FREE STUFF.ALSO THE NAME IS REALLY CUTE HAHAHA
